Looking for Info About Boxer Larry Derrick

Hello Gentleman:
It looks like this is the right place to go for people with lots of knowledge about boxing history and guys with some pretty amazing memories!I am doing research about a west coast boxer named Larry Derrick. I believe this was his fighting name, not his legal name. He was born ca. 1919 in Sacramento and his pro career was 1937-1941. Fought many of his bouts at the Sacramento Auditorium.
I have kind of hit a wall with stuff I could find on the internet. I also went to newspaperarchive.com and was able to find a handful of short pieces about him from the Oakland Tribune sports pages from 1938-39. But nothing else.
ANY info at all about Derrick would be MOST appreciated!
Thanks for reading!
