I haven't seen or heard anything of him for ages. I always enjoyed his writing for Boxing News. He wasn't one of the many 'see no evil hear no evil' writers now making their living broadcasting or writing about boxing.
Am I missing something? I hope he at least is in good health.

No idea but there is a fella who really knows his boxing and can read a fight, has posted occasionally on here

I used to follow him on Twitter but can’t find his account anymore. Hopefully he’s alright.

Loved reading him in the Boxing News. Hope he’s doing ok.

Bob has endured heart problems in recent years but is still alive and kicking and still a boxing phenomenon, although he is no longer involved in the sport which is a real loss.

Proper loss, but of course his health is more important, I hope he is fighting fit

Last time I was in touch with him, about 3 years ago now, he was semi retired on his small holding and concentrating on his poetry.
