Thanks, that was good. I remember him as a decent domestic-level fighter but I didn’t really know anything about him. You can hear the passion in his voice when he talks about asking God for help, it’s powerful.

Eubank was merciless in sparring, if they weren't up to the job he'd punch them out of the ring or break their ribs with body shots. Or both.

Even now he makes no bones about that he quite candidly tells the story

Why? I‘m almost the same but I still watch them.

He just seems slimy, like a wrong un. I got one of his interviews sent to me was with Paul Ferris and he tried to make out they were similar people right at the start was cringe as fornicate.

He was crying about Frankie Boyle blocking him before he’d ever messaged him. Frankie obviously pre empted him asking him to be on his show.

None of them would in the 80s. Hagler, whoever.

I'm talking about normal sparring partners, not the uniquely incredible Herol Graham.

One of very very few who could stand toe to toe with Eubank was former opponent Simon Collins from the valleys.
