Will the public be fooled twice? Pacquaio vs McGregor

Seems to be strong legs in Pacquaio will fight Connor Mcgregor next. Everbody knows Mcgregor will have a go for 30 seconds then get stopped but will be laughing to the bank. So will this bomb or will the public be fooled again and shell out money for it.

People that hardly follow the sport and then a circus like this is promoted and broadcast everywhere.. Everyone hypes it, twitters on fire etc.. It will still sell.. People will still buy it..
Plus, Pac has a different fighting style to Mayweather.. He will not be on defence.
Could be seeing McGregor get knocked down and out still time.

It will be big but surely not as big as maywether fight. I mean Conor’s value has dropped and the novelty aspect is less. Pac-Man is not the same draw as maywether also
Yes but still huge

Yes, it will be a huge payday for both. A great opportunity for ageing Pac to have an easy work paycheck nowadays.

All I hope is MP treats it like a real fight and doesn't carry CM, hope he goes in a smashes him in a round and hopefully it will show these events for what they are, cash cows.

as much as the event itself would leave a taste of sick in my mouth, Manny absolutely smashing nine bags of shite out of CM would give me a little man-gasm.

You can fool some of the people, all of the time.
You can fool half of the people, part of the time.
But you can't fool all of the people all of the time.
I expect it'll do about 40% as well as the May-Mac fight, give or take. Which means it'll still be one of the biggest fights in Boxing.

Doesn’t surprise me. There are several killers in the UFC currently who would wipe the floor with McGregor.
A boxing match against an ageing legend who can still look the part, fits the bill perfectly.

Made over a grand on the Maweather stoppage. And was not alone.
Let the Irish bet in their man and we can make a few quid.

I know this one will be a farce, but I'll buy it and (hopefully) enjoy it too.

Age is a funny thing. Once you get past 40 a sudden decline can kick in at any time, often quite quickly. That's why these sorts of fights can be a bit of a lottery. McGregor could get lucky and find himself fighting a Pacquaio who is a pale shadow of what he was even a couple of years before.

All true, except that McGregor will still be McGregor in a boxing ring. Pacquiao would still bang him out when he was 60.

This is a total fornicating farce.
Anybody who shells out for this pigshite deserves to lose their money.
I can only hope Manny rediscovers his long departed killer instinct, and knocks the gobshites block off.

Yeah, but Manny seems to really have gone soft in his later career, I've not seen the Mathysse fight, but he seems generally to have lost the appetite for hurting opponents a long time ago.
We can only hope that McGregor sodomises his wife/sister/mother/all three, and brings out the devil in him.

Or some cynics have suggested that it was around the time Mayweather was giving him a hard time over PED's, possibly causing a rethink over his conditioning habits.

Possible, but also possible a combination of age, and a lack of anything much to prove robbed him of it.
Impossible to be certain, but he's scored one stoppage in 11 years.
