Interesting match up this one. I hope it comes off although part of me isn't sure it might be a little too soon for froch. By the way dose anyone know if Froch would be allowed to fight for the british title on the eastman bill or do people have to fight on british soil for british titles as that is a potencially good fight to show both british fighters potencial.

Magee has turned the fight down by the looks of it.

The excuse is dreadfull if you ask me. He will not fight the 12th ranked Europian boxer because he wants to conserntrate on Europe! The fact is that fight would give him more of a claime for a shot at Europe.
If I were in Magee's place I would be embarresed, ether froch is a seriouse test and would do his credentials a lot of good or he is not and he could beat him easly any way. "everything that is wrong with british boxing".

It's not the first time Brian Magee has turned down an opponent either.

That's true enough, remember the huge task of Brian Barbosa he turned down? Magee is a skilled guy and had a good amateur pedigree but he is seriously lacking in punch resistance and i think Froch would expose that. I am trying to like Froch i really am, after all he doesn't seem like the sort to duck a challenge but the guy talks a lot of hot air for what is just a fledgling career at present.
He calls himself the hottests prospect in world boxing and he has the potential to go far but he must learn to bring that left hand up higher or he will be sparked out when he rises to the higher levels. However like i said earlier he genuinely seems ready to fight anyone and both Dodson and Magee have avoided him in various ways but i wish he would be a little less arrogant or it may come crashing down around him before he gets anywhere.

I don't know he whears the arregonce well and is willing to back it up. Magee should loose all credability for turning down a chance to fight for a real and respected title against a comparative novice who has only had 14 fights next to his 24 useing what is plainly a spuriouse excuse.
Lets hope Froch can get a deasent fight on the Eastman undercard.
