During the 60's and 70's Mexico had more registered pro fighters than all the other countries combined- more than 10 thousand.They certainly had the volume,but I think of all the Cuban exile fighters that had to leave and became champions-Napoles,Rodriguez,Legra,Sugar Ramos.Not to mention Isaac Logart,Florentino Fernandez.Nino ValdesBenny Paret,And the great trainers-Luis Sarria and Kid Rapidez.Jose Stable.Pupi Garcia and Ciro Morison didn't get out in time or they would have earned some serious coin fighting.

The thing that got me about this moron Castro-he thought pro boxing exploited fighter so he didn't want them to leave. So the ones that stayed in Cuba got their brains knocked out for free.
