Just checked and it isn't showing on Duahpass' boxrec.

Did I miss something? Pretty sure he was stopped by Yoka recently.

Very good matchup, I think Yoka would probably win but Milas is a dangerous opponent for him.

But I doubt it will actually happen.

What happened with Yoka vs Duhaupas is a total joke. You can't have a fight in database and keep it hidden. Either the event exists or not. Why is this even a feature to hide fights? Yoka's record is 8-0 in ranking, but 7-0 on his page. It seems that EBU and French authorities recognize the fight.

Tony Yoka vs. Petar Milas in Play

French Ringstar Promotions were the sole bidders today for the fight for the vacant EU heavyweight title between Tony Yoka and Croatian Petar Milas. Ringstar bid no less than 271,000 Euro and that is a lot of money for a fight at this level.

Ringstar plan to stage the fight in December.

Yoka is already officially announced to fight Christian Hammer on November 27 in Nantes.

As Yoka is signed with Ringstar and they're the only bidder, you'd think Yoka is interested. Hopefully Milas is too.

Should Yoka beat Hammer and then Milas, after starting his career slowly and with the doping ban, victories over Dimitrenko, Wallisch, Duhaupas, Hammer and Milas all within 18 months (including a year of inactivity due to covid) is good going for someone trying to make up for lost time. You'd think he'd be up for the European belt not long after that. Joyce Vs Yoka rematch?

Yea they are..., Im very confident Yoka will beat hammer comfortably, only thing is hammer is as tough as they come, wouldent be suprised if Yoka has very sore hands after that fight..

That's how it should be. Those 16 Olympians are tracked slowly. They fight tomato cans with a periodicity of big fights. Hammer indeed looks like a warm-up fight before more threatening Milas.

I hate it when they do this. Surely he should've had his team offer a bid if he deserves more?

Do we know who would be next down the rankings after Milas?

Tony Yoka vs. Petar Milas Now Targeted For February 28 in Nantes

The fight for the vacant EU heavyweight title between rising French star Tony Yoka (9-0) and Croatian Petar Milas (15-0) is according to the EBU set for February 28 in Nantes (France).

Yoka's promoter, Ringstar, had first planned to stage this one during December but Tony injured his hand when he fought Christian Hammer late November.

Milas last fought in October of 2019 and became the mandatory challenger for the EU title in the summer of 2018. He has seen quite a few co-challengers come and go before Tony Yoka came along.

Shame, it was a decent matchup of the two fresh rising contenders.

Tony Yoka vs Petar Milas on September 10 in Paris

French heavyweight Tony Yoka (10-0) takes on Croatian Petar Milas (15-0) at the Roland Garros Tennis Stadium in Paris, with the date of September 10.

Yoka vs. Milas has been on a few times before, as the Croatian was co-challenger along with Yoka for the then vacant EU title.

However, Milas pulled out and why he did is a bit of a mystery as Ringstar Promotions
had put in a bid for 275,000 for the right to stage the fight. The split would have been 50/50, which would have meant 137,500 for Team Milas.

Whether or not Milas will receive a better payday this time around isn't known.

Not announced yet by Ringstar Promotions, but has been by the EBU, are two other very interesting fights as Dylan Charrat (20-0-1) will clash against Spaniard Kerman Lejarraga (32-2) for the vacant EBU super welter title - and the fight for the vacant EBU light heavyweight title between former two-time champ Igor Mikhalkin (24-2) and Mathieu Bauderlique (20-1) will apparently also end up on this bill and is thus moved from the original date of July 24.

As for Roland Garros Stadium, its not every day they stage boxing events there but in 1973 the great Carlos Monzon retained the world middleweight title by defeating Jean Claude Bouttier there and in 1946 the equally great Marcel Cerdan beat Holman Williams.

Yoka had a pretty good pandemic. Milas not so much.
