I know, it's a bloody shame you'd think they could do better for a world title fight, but I guess Clinton's following is around that neck of the woods. Surely there's a better arena than that and the Ponds Forge leisure centre around there?

My geography isn't to hot - why isn't this fight in Sheffield, surely better centres/areana's in Sheffield. How close is Sheffield to Rotherham.

Rotherham & Sheffield are bang next to each other, Magna Centre is easy to find just off the M1 motorway.

These small arenas are probably the best they can get cos Clinton does not really have a big following, any other arena like Don Valley, Hallam FM arena would be way to big and make it look empty

Where did Woods fight Johnson, that had a good atmosphere (on the box).

Ponds Forge Leisure centre. That was a cracker, part of the reason was that the fight before it Thompson v Rothmann got the crowd sizzling. It was a bit like Stan 'the geermans' Boardman having Bill Bailey as his warm up man.

Fight 1 - Hillsborough Leisure centre

Fight 2 - Ponds Forge Leisure Centre - i went to this one, it's not a very big arena to be honest with you, but your right it did have a good atmosphere.

Maybe Woods promoters are struggling to find a venue, i mean the fight is only about 6 weeks away, many arenas are usually booked up way in advance.
