Otha Jones III(5-0-1) had a rough night with Kevin Mendoza(6-0-1). They fought to a draw.
Judges had a 58-56 for each fighter and a 57-57 card.
Any of those scores are acceptable imo, I had it 57-57.

Otha Jones III got entangled by Montiel Mendoza, it was a legit draw. Easy, fun wins by Ammo Williams and Diego Pacheco.

Excited to see the martinez fight. Seen him a couple of times now...banger with aggressive and good instincts. No idea about his opponent though as I don’t follow the weight class.

Martinez is completely blitzing him. Landed hard hook combos repeatedly and hurting his opponent...repeatedly. Drops him also mid way through. Big start.

Julio Cesar Martinez is growing on me round by round, he can hit a switch like nothing and fire heavy shots from everywhere. Calleros was doomed right at the weight scale.

Rd 2 ko. This guy Martinez is a seriously big puncher and ferocious for the weight. I think he can become a big star, well big as you can get in that weight division.

Yes! A lot of good matchups for JCM. I think he should stay at 112 for a while. Extremely exciting for the weight class.

That fight right there was what you call a beat down. Totally dominant.

Holy sht, Mikey Garcia has put on quite a lot of weight. He’s very much stagnated in his career overall I have thought and this is another sign.

It seems to me that except for Kosei Tanaka, everybody interesting he could fight is up at super fly.

Slow start. Choc takes rd 1 - intelligent pressure and a couple nice clean shots.

I’ve got it even through two. Close rounds. Choc landing the cleaner harder shots. Israel giving him trouble with length and speed, and he’s landing more.

It has heated up. Very nice exchanges. Very close rd. Israel did well. 1-1 but could have gone to choc.

Great third round for Choclatito. 29-28 for him.

Very clear rd for choc who is back Israel up and landing frequently. Seems to be making him uncomfortable and the movement of Israel has stopped.

Israel Gonzalez did not come here to roll over for the legend. We got ourselves a fight here boys. Even through four on my card. You could give it to Choc, but I think the sequence right about 2:00 into the round hurt Choc and thereby caused the most damage of either fighter.

Some hard punches land by Israel but to far and few between. Choc is working him over methodically, targeting the body more often.
