Since being co-founded by Kugan Cassius in 2010, IFL TV has received over 781 million views around the world, along with over 630,000 YouTube subscribers.

During that time, some of boxing’s biggest names have frequently featured on the channel, including Floyd Mayweather, Tyson Fury, Mike Tyson, Tommy Hearns, Roy Jones Jr, Evander Holyfield, George Foreman, Bernard Hopkins, Roberto Duran and many more.

IFL TV Co-Founder Kugan Cassius said: “In the first year, I set out to annoy people with my camera. The only difference is it’s 10 years and I’m still annoying people with the camera!

“I’m grateful to have reached 10 years, but we couldn’t have done it without the support of our viewers, the boxing community and without MTK Global. It could not have been done without those three things.

“I’m looking forward to the next 10 years to see what it brings, and I will be forever grateful and forever blessed.”

Not a fan. basically a promotional vehicle for their favourites. They don't ask actual questions, just lead Hearn down a narrative of what he wants to talk about. Much prefer Boxing Social.

Would love to get the full story on what happened to co founder james Helder. Heard kugan testified against him in an assault case and he got sent down. kugan then bought him out of his 50%. No idea if this is true or not but would be curious to find out.

Doesn't James Helder do some sort of YouTube football show now...or so says Tyan Booth! Apparently he doesn't get many views...

Helder should have put him in the back of the trunk!

The great thing about IFL is that you can stick so many boxers into YouTube and find an interview and all of the press conferences.

I think their videos are brilliant are fair play as they are really hard working. Spoke to kurgan at many shows and he is a sound fella. A lot of negativity hear but fair play to kugan

Not as good as they were. Even before lockdown they'd stopped visiting different gyms to interview fighters/trainers. Just a publicity tool now for whichever promoter will cover their expenses on fight week. Hardly original content these days.

Kugan is truly a prize bell end - I’ve seen him in action at a few events and he’s a real desperate chancer. I don’t think anyone in boxing respects the clown at all.

Watched him elbowing past people he considers not useful to furthering his career, to fawn over big shots like FW and EH - where his interviews seem mainly designed to keep himself in their good books, yet trying to portray himself as a independent “ journalist”. ( hilariously having a massive sulk when he didn’t get his press pass at a Wlad fight when his schmoozing backfired with the unimpressed German promoters )
This impression backed up by the way he threw Jane Couch aside once she’d served her use and helped him get started.

Chisora asks why Kugan doesn’t share access

“I don’t get it. Why are you the only guy in here and the other guys are not here?” said Chisora to IFL TV interviewer Kugas Cassius. “I’m just asking in the bubble. What kind of deal do you have with Eddie [Hearn]?

“Why does he like you more than the other [interviewers from other outlets]? I’m just asking because most journalists aren’t here and you’re here. You’re a media, so why are the other media not here?

“Would you swap your slot one day for another media guy to come in as a good suggester as a good journalist to say, ‘I’ve done some more, how about we let another rival to go?’ Yes,” Chisora said when asked if he would swap his position in fighting Usyk on Saturday to let one of his friends face him instead.

“Tell me who? Give me an idea. Don’t turn it [the camera] off. I’m just saying who? I’m saying, you give up your position for one of the shows coming up like Katie Taylor’s, and you give it to like, who is your rival?

“Let’s say we give it to Boxing News or Boxing.com or whatever it’s called, the blogger’s name or whatever. Would you? It’s a simple answer, Kugan. Yes or no, for f*** sake. Just f**** answer the question. No, no, no.

“We’re not talking about this fight. You’re here for this fight for the big fight, fine, but Katie Taylor’s fight. Would you give it to somebody else? Because what you’re doing is not fair,” said Chisora.

“You’ve done Dillian’s fight; You’ve done the whole fight camp, and you’re doing this. Other guys haven’t gotten a taste of doing it and being in the bubble,” said Chisora.

Kugan: “That’s not my fault, is it? Is that my fault?”

Chisora: “It’s not your fault. This is what I say. ‘Eddie, I’ve done all these fights, do you mind if I let someone else come in from another blogger for these fights so he can get some viewers?’ That’s what I’m saying. Share the f**** pie.”

Kugan: “They have the option to do that.”

Chisora: “And they say, ‘no?’”

Kugan: “Last time, Boxing Social has been in the Fight Camp, SecondsOut has been in the Fight Camp, alongside IFL. That’s Matchroom’s choice, not my choice.”

Chisora: “But you can tell Eddie that these guys need to eat as well.”

Kugan: “That’s down to them [Matchroom]. It’s like.”

Chisora: “What I’m saying is get your other colleagues to get paid as well by coming into the bubble for you not taking all the f**** space.”

Kugan: “You think I have the power to do this?”

Kugan: “I think you’re giving me too much credit now.”

Kugan: “Thanks, mate.”

Chisora: “You’re being an ******. Happy anniversary of ten years.”

Kugan: “Lovely thing to say, Dereck.”

Kugan: “Alright, I’ll turn the camera off.”

Chisora: “Turn the s*** off and get the f*** out.”

Kugan: “Alright, no problem, mate. No problem.”


Chisora: “Happy anniversary for being an a******. I don’t believe you’ll make it five years after this interview. You f**** a****.Get the f*** out of my room now.”

Kugan: “I wish you the best of luck tomorrow night.”

Chisora: “Kiss my black a**. Get the f*** out of my room. Turn your s*** off and leave.”

Chisora is bang on, with the kind of numbers ifl have course he has power. Hearn is a smart man and knows the power of social media and what IFL have. Kugan is content to use everyone and not offer anything back. Nobody likes a kiss @rse.

Not a fan of Chisora’s behaviour here.

Does he say the same to Eddie Hearn re: Sky boxing? Intimidating and unnecessary. Came across as a bit of a nasty bully.

Kugan might be many things but he works well with Matchroom and delivers decent, free and accessible coverage.
