The first was the best. Both in best shape, the fight was the most action-packed.

The second was the worst. Overall, it's a good fight, but not that good for the ATGs.

The third was great, grueling and intense, but less action-packed than the first one, while both of them already were significantly declined, although still capable of doing many things.

The 1st one is amazing. The 3rd one comes damn close, and probably took an even bigger physical toll on the combatants, but that could've been a combination of the extreme heat, and the extra wear and tear of a few more years in the hurt business.

Both absolutely grueling, legendary bouts.

The 2nd one. Not so much, but still a quality fight in it's own right. Just not up to the insane standards of the 1st and 3rd.

Number 3 was the most exciting.

Number 2 doesn't need to be on the list as even number 2 itself wouldn't vote for it.

Number 1 was a bigger event; the biggest event in boxing history, arguably, plus both were nearer to their primes, but I think purely as a fight, number 3 is a tad better.

I once used the analogy of John Travolta for the Ali vs Frazier 1 and 3 fights. The first fight was ,Saturday Night Fever '...young, energetic, fit, slim...the 3rd fight was Pulp fiction when he dances with Uma Thurman. It's still him, he's a bit heavier, older, less enthusiastic; but it's just the best dance scene ever!

In the 3rd fight, both boxers were just diminished enough in terms of speed and skill, that they couldn't evade each other's blows.

It made for a great fight (in the truest sense), because, lacking the physical benefits of their youthful prime, both had to dig deep into those other human qualities; such as guts, bravery, resilience, toughness, endurance.

Fight #1 was the best. Probably the best fight ever between 2 all-time greats in their prime or close to it. Both were undefeated champions and brought their very best skills to the table. It passed the expectations and anticipation of the billing. It was really, The Fight of the Century!

What fight #3 lacked the skills of first fight, just because these two did not like each other very much made the fight a thrill.
