McCallum's CV is shocking, only guy he's fought with a winning record is Leon McKenzie who stopped him, he's more known for having aggro with other fighters online and pulling out fights, let's hope this goes ahead, still 2 days to pull out, Tishchenko should stop him

I'm not sure how much notice McCallum had for this but he doesn't look in best of shape

Also, 35 year old prospect Evgeny Romanov, who has once KOed Wilder in the amateurs, breaks through the ranks here against 44 year old Siarhei Liakhovich.

Why? There's a big audience for hurling. Last year's final had more than 80k people attending. Compare that with women's sport that sky, BBC etc insist on covering - lucky to get a tenth of the crowds hurling gets.

Liakhovich is shot completely. Did nothing. Was battered and stopped in 2rds.

Another mismatch. McCallum stopped in two by the liver shot.
Btw, it's interesting, that Tishchenko is trained by Alexander Zolkin, who challenged Henry Akinwande for WBO in the 90s.

Ah well the mismatch as expected, McCallum at least let some shots go, but he was slow and far too small to have any success, Tishchenko must be the tallest Cruiserweight I've ever seen, quiet opener then finished McCallum with a left to the
body in round 2, easy as expected
Think every knockdown on the card resulted in a KO

It'll be fun to watch him against Okolie. Oh, wait, no Okolie fight can be fun to watch.

I opened this thread expecting updates on the hurling, and all I got was stupid boxing talk

I wasn’t criticising hurling per se, just suggesting that having it on a boxing channel is odd, to say the least!
As it happens I forgot all about the live boxing this afternoon

Andreev-Malikov was short, but a decent scrap with a great KO.

Very odd KO to see a delayed reaction like that. Andreev was also in the flow of a combination and Malikov made a terrible decision to start punching and leave himself open. If you're not throwing a sharp counter there, just cover up and get out.

The BEST sport in the world, brother... Really excited for the Championship this year, my county went unbeaten last season... Hopefully we have come on since the last time we were at the top table...
