Andrew Golota got a bad deal with refs with low blow punches yeah right against Riddick Big Daddy.
Golota would beat up Larry Holmes. TKO 7. Golota has better jab than American.
Refs always against Andrew. Golota would be good champ. Big with good Polish jab.

Golota in peak mental and physical condition could cause some problems for Holmes, but Larry would gradually establish the control and breal Andrew down. Holmes jab was better, his overall game was more polished, he was much tougher. Golota was a solid top fighter of his time. Holmes was an all time great fighter.
Holmes by the stoppage in about 10 rounds.

Golota is not in the same elite level with Holmes, who would out-box Golota behind his great left jabs, right hands and combinations to make Golota quit in 11 rounds.

I'd pick Holmes by 11th round stoppage.
Golota would actually have his moments though.
I don't think that he'd be all petrified like he was against Lewis, or freaking out like he was against Bowe. He was obviously quite scared of Tyson as well, but even then,he went some rounds.
Against Holmes,Golota would be in the fight, and likely even get Holmes in a compromising position, but I think he'd wind up getting arm weary trying to Ko Holmes, and then get stopped soon thereafter.

Golota was a big strong guy who was capable of giving you trouble, but obviously he's known for falling apart when things get dicey. Holmes on the other hand is known for consistent professionalism and never falling apart under pressure.
Holmes via KO somewhere between 8 thru 11 is my guess.
