Ward is a tough style for spinks. I think Michaels jab and greater activity sees him to a close decision. Everyone has off nights, but spinks lost to Eddie Davis who smothered him, ward could duplicate that and then some.

Spinks would put the Spinks Jinx on Ward by out-jabbing him in the first 6 rounds and knocking him out in 7 rounds after nailing him home with a big right hand.
