Am I the only one who is stunningly indifferent to Enzo's career? The Bruce Scott fight was quite good but other than that it's just so dull, crappy matchups etc, I just have no interest.

He's not as exciting as he's made out to be, but I think he's improving into a solid, intelligent boxer.

J, if you are on about that SN press release from a while ago it was just that - a press release designed to hype things up.

Enzo just isn't like that - or at least hasn't been the times I've talked to him. I even gave him carte blanche to slate Haye by asking him if he enjoyed Thompson's shellacking of Haye and he said he didn't.

He is very respectful. I like the feller in and out of the ring. I do hope he steps up soon but again, that is up to FW mostly. Enzo will fight anyone.

I agree, I've never spoken to him directly, but every interview I've seen with him he seems very affable and humble, I very much doubt that Enzo would have written his own press release, it was just standard fare written by sports network to steal Haye's thunder. As it turned out there was no need to steal his thunder because he got battered anyway.

I like Enzo, seems a decent chap. AND he hits a lot harder than Haye IMO. I think he'd beat Haye at the moment.

He'll no doubt walk through this guy tonight, now they need to move him along mind you he'd only a youngster. Might see him in a WBU-a-thon like Hatton.

I've always thought he hits harder than Haye too. Haye has quicker hands, but his punches aren't as accurate, I think Macaranelli's power is more pinpoint. He seems like he wants the fights too, I don't think there's anything wrong with his amibition, and in today's cruiserweights if he can add a few wrinkles to his game, there's no reason he can't be up there.

Enzo comes accross as a nice guy, punches hard, not that exciting in some fights but he looks good when he opens up, would'nt like to see him in with Nelson as it would be a step to far at the moment, Nelsons style wound not suit Enzo, and Nelson would make Enzo look for the big punch to much and just jab his head off all night, he could step up with one off the other champs though.

Nelson is also stronger than he is given credit for, he could sting Macaranelli from long range.

Nelson is a physical master piece....... very strong... a real athlete

Maccarinelli needs to still prove this supposed punching power to me.

I thought Abdoul, who was defensive illustrated, that if you cover up Enzo lacks the snap to break the guard.

And Abdoul was a big Light-Heavyweight.

His body attack appears strong given the Delaney and Kristiensen performances but I'm waiting to see what happens if somebody backs him up, because even though fleeting Abdoul appeared to disorganise Enzo a couple of times.

Macca is still young enough to learn new tricks, and his punchpower is only going to improve as he matures, he's not in his prime yet, and cruiserweights tend to peak late.

I agree that defensively he's not all there, but I like the way he varies his work. Many fighters struggle with someone who goes into a shell, that how Julius Francis is managing to stay upright at his age and in poor condition.

I've got a hunch that Macca is going to improve, but in the next year he needs some good tests to bring out the best in him, I doubt he will get that with Montagne, though early in the fight Montange might just tickle his beard.
