He had a comprehensive loss to Cullen this weekend. He went into the fight as a very big favourite. I thought he looked bad in the Fox fight and he looked very bad in this one. Has he found his level? I think so. He didn't look to have good punch accuracy or punch selection. He looked quite one dimensional. Great win for Cullen. He is as game as a badger.

Same, thought the signs where there in the Fox fight. Now he has gone life and death with Cullen and lost

At 23 he has time on his side, but he hasn't got enough to his game from what has been on show so far. Pretty disappointing, I thought he could have gone far.

I still thought he’d win last night but I genuinely don’t think he’s improved since he turned pro.

Little head movement, his punch technique looked poor at times and after the first round he didn’t hurt Cullen at all.

Cullen much improved, Docherty regressing. The importance of a good trainer. The cornerwork last night shone a light on that for me.

I just knew Doc would be uncomfortable if it went past six. Told everyone, and didn’t back it myself....

Docherty was basic. Cullen did well but is limited as well. Whatever happened to Joe Pigford? Would like to see him back in the mix.

Docherty unable to back up his pre fight cocky and arrogant verbals .

I much prefer the laid back and respectful Cullen who continues to be involved in fan friendly fights . I love his old school attitude , win lose or draw he’s up for a fight and willing to test himself . Cullen was down again in the first for the second time live on sky but gets up , dusts himself off and gets back to work .
After that knockdown Docherty was unable to capitalise and for me from the very next round was second best and faded more in the later rounds.

I tipped Cullen for the upset (at the very least, to make it through the distance) and was pleased to see him take the chance. Docherty fought like a man who has never had to think his way through adversity and after round 1 it showed - walked onto shot after shot and couldn't find Cullen on the counter.

Back to the drawing board for Docherty, and perhaps off to find better sparring and coaching.

Probably in love with his power was Docherty, Cullen was a big step up from who he'd been fighting but a loss isn't the end of the world at his stage, as long as he learns from it he can come again

cullen kinda looks like nate cleverly and fights a bit like an inferior version of him

it was a very big step up , ive seen cullen fight about 5 huge fights in the last year and a half and he is improving and alawys live and game never seen docherty know of him have family in inverness , but i thought after the first rd this aint a great fighter yet , he is tough lad doc that has box has deffo been ticked , i mean he looks alright maybe put him in with mark hefforn i bet he moves up to super mid
