According to the newspapers, Moore seems to have been shot in mistaken identity as the shooter mistook him for Kinahan.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑23 Nov 2020, 06:35 I don’t think Jamie Moore would find comments making light of staying safe from gun toting thugs “funny”

Nothing will ever beat the Lake District. I’ve been to shows for 30+ years in the north and have yet to hear of a Lake District club.
Worked in Marseilles a few times, lovely area where the cruise ships dock, about 7 euros a pint. The rest of it's like one big ghetto, rough as fook.mickey1975 wrote: ↑23 Nov 2020, 07:46 They’ve opened up in Marseilles now.

The England lads had a rough ride there with Tunisians. Some say it was the roughest they had ever been to.Webbo911 wrote: ↑23 Nov 2020, 08:26Worked in Marseilles a few times, lovely area where the cruise ships dock, about 7 euros a pint. Don King had nothing on these guys. Wasn’t the Dublin weigh in shooting down to them as well.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑23 Nov 2020, 07:00According to the newspapers, Moore seems to have been shot in mistaken identity as the shooter mistook him for Kinahan.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑23 Nov 2020, 06:35 I don’t think Jamie Moore would find comments making light of staying safe from gun toting thugs “funny”

According to the papers that was another attempt on kinahan by the hutches. There was a short video released on youtube which was a dramatization of the attack. I can't seem to find it now..CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑23 Nov 2020, 09:20Don King had nothing on these guys. 'dramatization' is right- it had Kinahan convulsed in concern, as security wasn't present 'and there were children, and families there'TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑23 Nov 2020, 09:39According to the papers that was another attempt on kinahan by the hutches. Where a plucky little boxing management/promotional company/some weird gym franchise thing/global sports consultancy can't come along out of nowhere and scoop up half the boxers in the UK, despite not putting on any shows that stand a chance of making money (whilst paying a load of their boxers weekly wages, and giving Tom Stalker and Jamie Conlan jobs), without suspicious eyebrows being raised.
So what if they can seemingly afford to offer the winner of Ryan Walsh vs Jazza Dickens a deal with guaranteed six figure purses and a world title shot (plus Ohara Davies, and the winner of the light heavies). Just shrewd business no doubt, those York Hall tickets sales and Sky TV fees will cover that, easy.
Can't we all just get back to saying Eddie Hearn is the worst thing to happen to ever happen to boxing?

Odd that they mentioned that given they are yet to hold a single show, and the promoter they linked up (Takashi Edagawa) with had his license revoked for tax evasion. Mutoh still exist but they've been SUPER quiet in 2020, and one of their prospects had a bout cancelled on him yesterday (cancelled day before the bout)...and another (Riku Kunimoto) has had a title bout cancelled earlier this month.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑23 Nov 2020, 09:36MTK Global Commercial Director Jack Johnstone said: "This another proud moment for MTK Global and a huge step forward in the development of French Boxing.mickey1975 wrote: ↑23 Nov 2020, 07:46 They’ve opened up in Marseilles now.

"Norredine has dedicated his life to the sport and we are delighted to be working with him and his team to develop and nurture the huge amount of talent down in the south of France.
"The 400 m2 facility in Aix-en-Provance has everything an elite fighter would need to train at the highest level."
The launch of MTK Marseille means MTK Global has now expanded to an incredible 24 locations worldwide, following the unveiling of MTK Worcestershire, MTK Fuerteventura, MTK Alberta, MTK Leeds, MTK Miami, MTK Lake District, MTK Munich, MTK Denmark (based in Aarhus) and MTK Costa Brava earlier this year.
They join strongholds in Osaka, Japan; Marbella and Tenerife, Spain; London, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Scotland, United Kingdom; Johannesburg, South Africa; Santa Catarina, Brazil; Sydney, Australia; Almaty, Kazakhstan; Tucson, Arizona, USA and Dubai, UAE.
Yep, first they open a facility in that notorious den of thieves Marbella then next they choose Marseille a key European hub in the distribution of drugs. It’s almost like they’re taunting the authorities.
