First Fat Dan, now Steve Kim..

Kim tweeted that this was his choice, but does that mean he found a better job elsewhere or he had no choice but to leave (i.e. he no longer liked his employers, working conditions were poor, or were moving him to a different role he didn't want to perform etc.)?

I've never heard of 323, so I don't know. It could be a new venture or an existing brand that has been renamed.

ESPN are losing credible journalists and I thought Kim's statement about it being an "interesting two years" working for ESPN was a diplomatic way of saying he didn't like his former employer. That's how I've interpreted things anyway.

People normally say a fond farewell and depart on a positive note, but he didn't.

I could be wrong though.

My view has always been that they've been chosen to create sharable soundbites and have controversial opinions to create clickbait for modern social media interactions and ad revenue etc. which is not great when you're supposed to be a top tier sports network providing expert analysis.

Kim was a solid guy. ESPN is turning into a four letter word, and I don't mean that in a good way.
