Could sneak in in about 2 or 3 years, spence moved up, other top dogs ageing, yeleussinov still prime. Undoubtably there will be new welters getting better, 140s moving up, and could even have a lopez/haney/garcia in welter trying to fill the gap also.
I would give him a fair chance of getting a welter belt at some point in the next few years. but i dont think he will be the best welterweight in the world at any point in the next few years.

If exactly Crawford and/or Spence is/are on top, Yel won't become a champ, but, if some abc-strap is somebody's else, he will have a bigger opportunity. Anyway, he needs to be proven more.

He looked very impressive against faded Julius Indongo, who at age 37 is a shot fighter. He is a few years away from running with the big dogs at 147, but is among the young WW prospects like Boots Ennis, Vergil Ortiz & Stanionis.
Hearn at Matchroom is talking about matching him up with Ortiz in the near future, but I would call Vergil a slight favorite in that matchup at this point.

Eddie Hearn is interested in matching unbeaten Daniyar Yeleussinov against the highly-rated Vergil Ortiz Jr if possible. The Matchroom Boxing USA promoter Hearn says he would like to see the 2016 Olympic gold medalist Yeleussinov (10-0, 6 KOs) take on Ortiz Jr (16-0, 16 KOs).

Like I said , Dani is good, but Vergil is a guy looking elite
Dani could win a title the way jamal james won a regular title, but think the top tier wws too much

This scenario might be possible (2022/2023) : Crawford is retired without a loss, Spence is at LMW, even MW, but Tailor, Ramirez, Prograis and T. Lopez are competing at WW. Where is Daniyar's position ? Difficult to say..................
