12 Rounds, Modern Rules. (I guess I had better specify: Both in their primes.) How do you think this one goes?

Tunney would be a too elusive target for Marciano. He was faster and moved much better. He also was very durable and had a great chin. Tunney by a clear dec.

12 helps gene, still going to take Marciano late stoppage.

I also believe the Rock stops Gene late. I can't see him hanging 12 with Rocky, but then I probably rate Gene lower than most.

This is a tough matchup. Tunney is no doubt the better technician and finesse fighter. Marciano is a conditioning endurance machine. I think the strength and tenacity of the Rock may win out here. I will go with Marciano close on this. He wins a razor thin decision.

Either Tunney by decision or Rocky by KO with a come from behind stoppage.

I'd lean toward Tunney decision, but we never really got to see a lot of Tunney against Top Heavyweights, so it's hard to gauge just how good he was or wasn't at that weight.
