Well deserved.
I've read some stuff, that this year is the first case with 2 fighters been awarded, him and Lopez. Is it true?
Anyway, Fury deserves it about the same Lopez does. Lopez' win was less expected, but also it was less convincing. Fury's win was expected, but not in such spectacular and convincing fashion.

Deserved. There's not been much on this year. Lopez was the only other standout really. Fury out and out ruined Wilder. By far the best performance of his career.

Some casuals are hitting out on social media, cus Fury is celebrating his Ring mag award..
and some are saying why did he snub SPOTY, thought he did not care about awards etc.
Difference is, SPOTY is a sports award, Ring Mag is a boxing award.. Not like he was nominated for it was he?

yea agree but the heavy weight has to get the nod as it was title fight and tyson stream rolled him , but between teo and davis have to go teo performance against loma domiated him were davis was a get out jail punch in away

Very unfortunate to have co fighters of the year.
If Fury had managed to fight twice he would’ve got it easily.

Also Ali and Monzon in I wanna say 1972. I have some Ring Magazine almanacs around here I could consult.

Ha ha it’s light years apart, like saying to a footballer “do you want to win the carabao or World Cup”

That and a quarter will get you a nickel. Not undeserved, great performance, but that magazine is decades out of relevance.

Teo for me. Great performance from fury but you can’t compare wilder to loma.

the whole covid stuff messed up the year and gave the fighters less opportunity to seperate themselves
fury with a win in feb was in one of the best positions to have multiple fights this year but then of course went inactive
roman gonzalez with a good multi fight year

Fury and Teo had the two biggest wins in boxing. Co-fighters is undesired but not unprecedented.
Congrats to the big man who continues to inspire millions dealing with mental health!
