what is the bridge too far for cinammon?

some people think it's berterbiev

some think that's an easy fight for him, and that he'd have to move up and fight an elite cw to be beaten

some think he could be cruiser champ too and could go on to hw and win titles there, becoming the first mexican with dwarfism to be a hw champ

who is the best + biggest opponents he can beat?
can he beat second/third tier hws?
is he at all possibly being a bit overrated now, or is he that f@cking fantastic?

I have a hard time seeing him beat Beterbiev.

A bridge too far was Golovkin as far as actually winning the fight, but when the judges are gonna give it to you regardless you'll win a lot of fights that might otherwise be too much for you.

I figure he could beat some Third Tier Heavyweights. Not sure who would be considered 2nd Tier.

He won't beat Beterbiev. He can beat the rest in this division.

He won't beat Briedis, whom I consider the man at the CW. He probably can beat the second tier CWs like one-dimensional Dorticos and enough vulnerable Glowacki with Makabu. He won't beat Okolie, who looks like a threatening comer of the division.

He won't beat anybody in the HW top 20. The likes of Chisora, Kownacki, Breazeale and Hammer will overwhelm him. Probably he can handle the likes of Charr, Kiladze, Lucas Browne, Dave Allen, David Price.

168lb) I think he is a massive favourite vs any 168.
175lb) A slight favourite vs the top 175s (even without any rehydration clause shit.)
200lb) in terms of "top guys" Arsen Goulamirian and Makabu may be doable (iv hardly seen anything of them), they dont appear to cut much weight, arnt huge and dont have the worlds most stacked resumes, Briedis however is good and big, and smokes canelo.

Heavyweight) I'm sure there are guys he can beat. but most decent heavys beat him comfortably..Char for a joke title is winnable (if he hasnt been juicing for his 3 years off), Babic is a fun fights, and for some reason (probably delusion) the wilder fight in theory interests me...

Oh Wilder vs Canelo would be a dream come true

I would be amazed if he made it past Beterbiev despite having 5 years' youth on him. That's a level of power even Canelo's chin would struggle to hold.

You have to think cruiser is a step to far. Breidis is a sharp boxer too. I'd favour Breidis.

He is lean and full at SMW.

He was a little bit fleshy, but still in good shape, at LHW versus Kovalev.

He would be fat at cruiserweight.

I'd like him to focus his efforts at LHW.

Personally a catchweight (185lbs) fight with Briedis is what I'd like but that's not going to happen.

He beat Kovalev, but he was looking like a shell of his former self for a while.

I think Canelo's team would want another top name at LHW on his record at some point.

Beterbiev is an intimidating prospect, I can't see him winning that. Bivol is less physically dangerous, but is highly skilled.

He might decode to wait for a weaker champion to become available.

If he ever moves to Cruiser then Makubu would be a good shout (he should avoid Briedis like the plague).

As plenty have said (including me) Canelo would be a huge favourite against Charr, so if he can get to him before he gets stripped, that could be an option.

Someone mentioned Canelo vs Wilder, I can't see it happening, but if it did, I would definitely stay up and watch it live.

Canelo vs Wilder sounds like absolute fun. Skinny and sloppy goliath against bulky and crafty runt. Both bangers. Make it!

What I'd love to see is Canelo fighting the division elites, like he has already done v GGG.

Fighting against the Brits won't do anything for his legacy.

If he is not fighting the elites at least I want to see him against the belt holders at higher weights.

Bridgerweight?

See what I did there?

Canelo seems to struggle against volume punchers. GGG first fight, Lara, Khan early. Weight isn’t the question here... if you have a high volume world class operator with a good chin, they’d have a chance. Not many out there though.

I don't particularly like his chances in either bout. I think he'd do better against Bivol. I don't think he'd be able to keep Beterbiev at bay or hurt him.

Beterbiev can rush in and a big punch for saul unlike johnson will be game over, where bivol is a tough clever boxer, i will say i do rate Beterbiev after his last win over Gvozdyk, saul in my mind wont be favourite in ethier fight

You're saying you think Saul could knock out Beterbiev?

I frankly think he could hit him with his best punch several times, and he wouldn't put a dent in him, but I could be wrong.

not necessarily ko , but put him down yes, and with that experince and boxing skills saul then can box the fight he wants , saul could beat Beterbiev on points were i dont think he could out box bivol

Am I right in thinking that Bivol has said he will go down to 168 to face Canelo? I rate Bivol, pretty smooth boxer-puncher and he has out-boxed some solid fighters at LHW but at 168 I'd back Cinnamon. Would love him to prove me wrong though

Agreed, great style match up for him. Beterbiev is brute strength. Too much speed and skill IMO. I think bivol is a tougher fight.

As for the question, I still think mall beats him.
