Is conlan spending too much time talking about a world title and getting on like he's a big superstar instead of focusing on fighting desent fighters he could work his way up the ranks fought for commonwealth title and European title built a bit of momentum

He has been moved fairly fast, but then some guys, like Josh Taylor respond to that well.
Personally I think it's 2 fights too soon. The ramping up of opponents isn't at the contender level yet.
There are a few guys I would pick him to beat right now inside the top 15.
Problem is, I also don't think there is a 'weak' champion at feather right now. Not unless a belt has been vacated and I don't know about it

i agree with that kiwi , i still dont see what the rush is with mick , he is improving in every fight which is a good sign , i dont think he is quite there yet, i think he will be though soon , i would go this year 3 big fights , then 2022 new york st pats day world title fight

I think Conlans peak may have been as an amateur.
He looked unbeatable in 2015. In hindsight he might of stayed amateur too long.
With his backing he’s guaranteed a soft title shot in 2021.

I don't think he's peaked as such, more that he's a HOF class @ am and probably only alphabelt holder class as a pro.

id say the imaginary amateur hof requires at least a few world championships or olympic golds, 1 world title and 1 euro title would basically just make someone the average member of the russian or cuban team
