Tommy Morrison widow obtains Don King three-bout heavyweight contract



According to his widow, a contract obtained between former world heavyweight champion Tommy Morrison and promoter Don King could have helped clear his name.

Trish Morrison has fought for years to see the documents she hoped would clear Tommy’s name when losing his license to boxing during the 1990s.

Releasing the contract in full for everyone to view, Trish pointed out that had she received them seven years ago, the court would have had to take note.



In a social media post, Trish stated the following:

EXHIBIT “Z” THE DON KING/ TOMMY MORRISON CONTRACT

~ It took me 7 (seven) YEARS to get this heavyweight contract…

~ people had it. People held on to it. They knew I needed it to win Tommy’s case.

~ it was an essential document that needed filing to help TOMMY clear his name…

~ but these #people didn’t want Tommy to win, so they #withheld this document from the Court.

~ this document was Tommy’s future. His way of supporting his family for years to come.

~ Defendants #under #oath stated this document did not exist and I was lying.

~ Defendants’ actions “caused the interference with contractual arrangements”..a minimum of $10million Tommy’s family could have won..just on this one claim only…

~ I filed it with the Court on DEC.30.2020…

~ But it was seven years #too #late for the Court.

~ Court document #334 confirms this new evidence is too late, and Tommy’s case remains closed.

HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHT

Morrison lost his right to box after confusion over a positive HIV test. He subsequently lost millions of dollars in earnings.

Astonishingly. in 2020 court documents #326 and #140 filed by the Nevada Commission confirms, ‘the state defendants never alleged Mr Morrison had HIV in 1996’ and ‘Morrison was never indefinitely suspended on Feb.10.1996’.

The former WBO heavyweight champion died on September 1st, 2013 of cardiac arrest, septic shock septicemia caused by surgical gauze left in his chest to rot by a surgeon in Tennessee.

Tommy’s post mortem on September 17th of 2013 confirmed no HIV and no AIDS. Trish fights on in his name.

Trish recently filed a Motion for DNA/HIV Testing on newly discovered and preserved tissue belonging to Tommy Morrison.

The case remains pending and awaiting an official ruling.

What is she trying to bring on?

The contract was signed, but then the fight against Art Weathers was off just a day before its date, after the test result had appeared.

And people don't die because of the fact of having HIV, they die from different diseases, which appear, because HIV literally turns immune system off.

Tommy looked like a skinny 80 year old man at his 40s, when he passed away. There were multiple signs of his body suffering from the opportunistic infections.

The infection after the brest implant operation could have simply appeared because his immune system had already been damaged. Then his organism failed to deal with the growth of the infection. The septic shock means, that his organism was just devoured by different infections. That's how AIDS goes very often.

Unfortunately, Tommy had broken mentally in the mid 2000s. His last wife is insane.

She needs to stop clinging on. Legally the case has been put to bed, therefore, so should she. She did more harm than good to Tommy and if anything, other individuals close to him, not her, would deserve to receive the money from this contract.

For the record, I don't really know anything about this situation. And I don't care to have an opinion about it either.

However, here's a different perspective, which superficially raises some valid points:

"Estate of Tommy Morrison Nevada Lawsuit Begins Again vs. NSAC and Quest Diagnostics"

Morrison never had been medically found to have HIV/AIDS, as Quest Diagnostics never administered such a test, such an HIV/AIDS test would have taken weeks to process, not a few days, at the time the NSAC claimed; the NSAC and Quest were involved in with fraudulent medical documentation; and the end result impacted and destroyed Morrison’s boxing career falsely and to its detriment.

Morrison had been scheduled to fight Arthur Weathers in 1996 Nevada when Nevada stopped the bout, citing blood evidence Morrison had HIV when Quest Diagnostics, the company proving the so-called evidence, had no such test for HIV. The oversight subsequently a legal controversy when The New York Times conducted its own tests when Tommy Morrison cried foul, and Morrison tested HIV negative over a decade later.

No actual HIV/AIDS blood test existed or exists which confirmed or confirms one way or another Morrison had the HIV disease. Nevada somehow claimed it based on the documentation supplied by Quest, which Mrs. Morrison claims had no such test. The case has gone back and forth through the Nevada State Courts, the Ninth Circuit Court (16-17050), and the United States Supreme Court (17-1537).

The NSAC medical advisory board reviewed Morrison’s 1996 test results, and concluded they were “ironclad and unequivocal. Morrison said he tried to get a copy of his original test results, but was unable to do so, adding: “I don’t think it ever existed.” The NSAC said Morrison could “contact the laboratory, and they would immediately release the results to him. They did not, and the paperwork supplied was not from the overseeing physician, and did not claim such an HIV test was ever or even performed by Quest. Morrison tested negative for HIV four times in January 2007, so he began fighting again, fighting twice more, in 2007 and 2008. After passing medical tests in Texas, West Virginia, licensed Morrison to fight. In February 2007 he fought and beat John Castle.

On July 22, 2007, the New York Times reported that Morrison took two HIV tests in 2007, and a third test specifically for the New York Times. HIV experts officially reviewed the three tests, and concluded the 1996 results claimed, if administered following proper protocol and procedures, were a false positive.

The experts agreed nobody is ever cured of HIV (this has since been proven wrong, as HIV has been cured in rare cases in Europe).

If Morrison’s HIV negative tests from 2007 were performed on Morrison’s blood, then he had never been infected with HIV in the first place, triggering the ongoing legal actions by Tricia Morrison, administratrix for the Estate of Tommy Morrison. Morrison, who would be 50 years old if alive, died on September 1, 2013, at the age of 43. The Nevada civil action by the Estate of Tommy Morrison will apparently continue into a fourth decade the argument of what information was used by the NSAC and Quest Diagnostics to the detriment of Morrison’s Boxing career, and its validity, invalidity, or inconclusiveness (based on timeliness of the lawsuits).

Nonetheless, to date, neither of his wives, no women associated with Tommy Morrison, and no boxing opponent or sparring partner who fought with Morrison, was ever infected or claimed to be infected with HIV, which-considering the public figure Morrison was in his lifetime-and the degree of promiscuity with numerous women Morrison admitted to during the earlier part of his pro boxing career-would have been impossible. The implied conclusion was the action by the NSAC against Tommy Morrison to revoke his boxing license and prevent him from fighting again was vindictively designed to ruin and terminate his boxing career falsely, an allegation yet to be proven in the civil courts, despite the New York Times determination by valid medical testing Morrison was HIV negative.

Quest diagnostics did have accurate tests. What is alleged in that post about quest is
inaccurate Morrisons subsequent tests including one by the cdc were all positive for hiv

This is all confirmed in court documents

The test for the ny times was most likely not Morrisons blood.

HIV or not those roids he was taking are really dangerous and can shorten and fck up ones life dramatically. Roids, recs, alca and getting hit in the head and body etc, not the best combo.
