How very sad. Rest in peace.

His brother must be devastated.

Sad news. I really enjoyed Nicky's British & Commonwealth title reign.

(At present) I'm sure on his boxrec profile the picture being used is actually his brother Jason.

Both brothers were gifted boxers. I sparred both of them when they started out as pro’s. Jason was a great technician who could land a punch from anywhere. Nicky, for me had more power and spite in his punches. Both were lovely lads. Looking back I was privileged to have helped them out at the very start.
Both had their own troubles, god bless them both.
RIP Nicky.

Horrible news to wake up to. Nicky was talented and grimly determined in his fights. His British title war with Stephen Oates is one of the best British title fights of the 21st century to date. Feel for Jason and the rest of his family.

Funnily enough I knew Oates from Bridlington ABC. God knows why as he boxed for Repton and had a cockney accent. Beat Levi Pattison in the aba final as well.
Rip Nicky.

RIP. I know he had quite a rough time in recent years, sad for someone so young to end up like that.

Some sites are just saying his demons caught up with him, can only guess what that means.

Highlighted talented - nothing like or anywhere near a journeyman
