Happy 74th to El Puas!

The great Ruben "El Puas" Olivares, one of Mexico's most beloved champions is 74 today!
Let's give him some love to the 4-time world champion and top 100 greatest pound per pound and greatest punchers ever.
And also, discuss his career.

Olivares doesn't get enough credit for his boxing ability; that's understandable as is power was so great ! I'd take Jofre to beat him for certain at 118 and maybe Manuel Ortiz and Zarate, so I have him no worse than # 4 at bantamweight and I wouldn't argue putting him in second place.
I love the Chacon trilogy and his destruction of Lionel Rose is one of my favorite fights.

Man! Talking about a puncher! Rockabye Ruben was one of the all-time best.
