Are you sure they offered a tradional ppv option?

I thought the only options were buy the one month or one year subscription.

It was offered through cable providers too. Much more expensive.

Apparently the $69.99 PPV price for the Canelo-Smith bout included a gift code for a four-month DAZN subscription.

I guess the alternatives for new subscribers, were to either pay for a one-month subscription for $19.99 or an upfront payment covering the entire year at $99.99.

I feel that the multitude of options provided by DAZN to watch this bout, renders the PPV buy-rate figure itself irrelevant, since it’s impossible to draw a comparison to other boxing events.

This is because there's going to be a certain amount of cannibalisation of the PPV figure, either due to the Tyson-Jones exhibition that took place around the same date or people preferring to subscribe to DAZN rather than paying the one-off $69.99 pay-per-view price.

You’ve also got the unmeasurable customer retention figure, representing those that may have terminated their existing subscription to DAZN during December, had the Canelo-Smith bout not happened. So these people obviously paid an extra $19.99 for a one-month extension.

Garcia/Campbell was offered too. Not sure how much.
