who wins?
canelo seems to be favoured over the lhws, so i wonder how he'd do vs cws and if he'd fight there

He's not favored over most Top Light Heavyweights to me, and he wouldn't be favored over Dorticos either.
Or Mairis Breidis.

Canelo has already said he has no plans to make the jump to cruiserweight.

Briedis, no.
Dorticos is one dimensional its possible he outboxes him and stays away for 12. Hed have a skills and speed advantage

Dorticos is one-dimensional and can be hurt, so Canelo has chances to outslick him. Briedis is too much for Canelo though.
However, I won't pick Canelo over Beter and Bivol.

Being the favorite, and winning the fight are 2 different things.

How much speed would he lose beefing up to 200 pounds though?

Would he beef to 200 or come in lighter at 180 or so?

Canelo would die

Would he not have more chance if he maintained his Callum Smith weight? He's never going to compete with Dorticos in terms of physicality whatever he does, so surely best not risk conceding his advantage in speed.
That thread title got me all excited. For a moment there. I thought the fight had been anounced

Either way he'd be at a big disadvantage. If he ever decides to step up to Cruiserweight I'd definitely test the waters against a not so formidable guy before I'd take on the likes of Dorticos.
Maybe a few fights like that. Come into one weighing 180 to 185 come into the next weighing 190 to 195, and gauge which way you felt you performed better.

It would make sense to test the waters like Usyk did with Witherspoon (and then a sterner test with Chisora) before taking on the iron of the division.
