Williams versus Solano last night on Showtime

Did anyone else see this fight? It was one of the strangest fights I've ever seen!

For one, Solano suffered a knockdown in round eight after getting hit on the shoulder. That's fair I suppose because he was hit by a punch on a legal part of the body, but still strange. But things got weirder from there. Round ten specially.

First, the referee took a point away from Solano from a blow the cameras showed was not low. Then there was a double knockdown but the referee chose to count to Williams only. After the bell ending the bout, things got even weirder if that was possible, as the ref told the judges he was overturning both controversial calls in the tenth and was not taking a point away from Solano nor calling the double knockdown a fall for either of the boxers (after he had counted to Williams, imagine if Williams hadn't gotten up and he overturned that!)

The scoring was 97-92 and two 96-93 for Williams, who won by unanimous decision. I had it 95-94 for Solano but it was no robbery at all. Had the kd and low blow counted, Id had it for Solano, 95-92 I think because I cant remember well how I had it scored before the tenth, with all the confusing mumbo-jumbo that took place. The ref having said to discount everything that had apparently taken place but did not in the last round, however, meant I had Williams win it 10-9 instead and so I had it finally at 95-94 for the Colombian still.

Did you see the bout? And if you did what was your opinion and how did you score it?
