IIRC it will depend (as with many things like this) on how many tickets they sell. couple of months ago I chatted to a fella who fought Jimmy Sweeney once, and i think he was looking at something like 2-3k for the fight plus 50% of the ticket sales. threw a wobbler and wouldn't fight in the organisation again if they wouldn't give him that (he's gone on to gloved/semi-pro boxing instead)

Anyone who does that needs their heads examined. The damage they take in those fights is terrible.

A few grand for Sweeney isn't great. He's seen as the best. I saw footage of Brad pryce doing ok with him, gloved, sparring, only a couple of years ago. My pal, who's retired, after getting chinned, had a great amateur career, he swears it's a very different sport.

A chisora type fighter would do great in that sport.
