The legendary Hands of Stone would overwhelm Kalule with great heavy counters and combinations to either decision or TKO him in late rounds. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Not if Duran comes like he did with Wilfred Benitez, Kirkland Laing and Jimmy Batten fights at 154lbs.

I think Kalule pulls out a close split decision.

In reality, after The No Mas fight, you never knew what Duran you was gonna get.

The Duran and Kalule of 1979 IMO Duran wins UD or KO11.
The Duran and Kalule of 1981 before Kalule lost to SRL would have been Kalule’S best chance. Around the time Duran lost to Benitez and Kalule to Moore in 1982, I probably would have picked Duran if it was a title fight, After that Duran by KO. Duran would beat him, IMO, in a title fight because he’d be motivated. In a non-title fight, Kalule could outpoint him

I'm basing my choice on the best version of each man at the weight in question. I got Duran on a late stoppage.

It'd be Very Competitive in any case.
The 83 vs Moore version of Duran vs the 80-81 version of Kalule would be the best of both.
I think that Duran would win by a SD.
They both get knocked down during the battle.
Duran in round 3, Kalule in round 8. Epic Battle.
