The other day I was laughing to myself when I remembered two absolute gems. Chisora's laxative comment and Tyson's eating children. What are some of the best moments that you remember that have gone under the radar?

Groves and Froch before first fight. Groves really got to Froch, especially with the 'are you gonna cry' comment. Froch is the first to admit he got under his skin and he didn't know what to say when Groves said about him crying
From about 1 min 20secs onwards, Froch looks visibly rattled.

Mayorga was acting like an absolute nutcase and a thug. A very memorable guy. Imagine, if he only spoke English.

Hector Camacho had a really cringeworthy attempt at Trash Talking one time. Dropped the N Bomb.

Trash talking is part of the game, I understand, but I wish it wasn't.
Say that you are 11 years old, and you idolize a boxer from another race, color or country and then you hear that boxer talk bad about your color, race or nationality.
I know it's part of the game a lot of the time, not all the time but many people don't understand that. That brews hate, anger and discrimination against other people.
That's why had I been a boxer such as I wanted to be, I would not have trash talked, not in a way that is offensive to races, peoples or countries. There are acceptable things like deriding an opponent's skill, and unacceptable things.
That's why I wish at least part of it went away. I know a lot of it has to do with selling the bout, but we could always show some decency also.

I think "Two-Ton" Tony Galento aka "The Jersey Night-Stick' may have been one of the original "Trash Talkers" .
( He would do things like call up Joe Louis in the middle of the night before thir fight in June 1939 and say crude things to him)

Wilder saying Fury doesn't even hit as hard as his infant daughter only to then come out and claim tampered gloves, weights in the gloves, and complaints about damage done yet still said he was in perfectly good condition and had Fury exactly where he wanted him.

Tommy Burns and Jack Johnson did a fair share of Trash talking in 1908 (both in and out of the ring).

A lot of really good fighters I didn't like because of the trash talk. Ali and Camacho were funny when they did and I didn't view them as obnoxious like a lot of others.
James Toney was a highly skilled guy that I couldn't like because of this but I do remember him saying something to Chris Eubanks when dogging him and Benn.
Eubanks looked like Will Ferrell at the supper table in StepBrothers trying to hold back the tears.

One I have vague memories of: Antonio Tarver, during his later cruiserweight days fighting I think on Friday Night Fights, his unheralded opponent tried doing the "got any excuses tonight, Roy?" line after the ref's instructions, but because he had his mouthpiece in it came out like "Gorrrwehhhscussus uuhnnywuh?".
Peter McNeely's "poem" during the press work for the Tyson fight.
Kendall Holt, after the ref instructions for his fight against Tim Bradley, banging his chest and bellowing "Are you ready for this heart? Are you ready for this heart?". If memory serves he knocked Tim down pretty badly in round 1 then failed utterly to stop Bradley from controlling and dominating the rest of the way.

He seemed to knock him out with a hook then the canvas fall woke bradley up. Really weird

There really is. Most people who take up fighting for a living have to be a little bit crazy. It doesn't always extend every aspect of their lives but there has always been some real shit dudes in boxing (or any fight sport) and always will be.

From the title whoever uploaded this was obviously not impressed with Bowe and Lewis's efforts.
I've actually always though it was quite a cool little clip.

Julio Cesar Chavez v. Greg Haugen: The challenger's comments about "Tijuana taxi drivers." Obnoxious, memorable and yes, brave. Boy did he ever pay for that remark.

In accordance to the way that Mr. Benn speaks, he is not educated.
Sure, he's educated to I suppose a certain extent, but under different circumstances he would be a bouncer on some door in the West End and he'd have three kids from three different women.
I am a superior person. I have finer points. So, superior in mentality, yes. As a fighter in accordance to the trade, yes
Chris Eubank being an absurd first year university pseud yet quite devastating...not least because Benn is duly brimming over with hate having just being hugely patronised by a pseud again

"Lethal Weapon" Joe Savage blathering about beating Tyson and Lewis in the same night and then getting flattened in about little over a minute by Bert Cooper and looking like Ralph Kramden while doing it. Epic fail.
