Well it seems the only way to beat the home fighter in this country is to knock them out, Harrison did not win this fight.

Had the fighters performances been swapped Harrison would have won by about four points on each card.

Its getting to the point where I have to ignore championship belts altogether because its so hard to actually make a case for them being champs.

Good job Polo, you won the fight.

Lets not get carried away, it wasnt any sort of robbery. I had Polo winning by 1 point. Polo won a lot of rounds clearly but it was a pretty close fight. Good fight though great viewing.

Harrison just isnt good against movers, Medina I and Polo both showed that. He needs to forget about fighting Barrera he'll get knocked out.

Didn't actually have a card, but thought Harrison needed a KO going into the 10, Polo won 2 of the last 3 aswell.

I'll do a tally, but I was expecting Polo by 4-5 points would have been okay on the cards.

I would only tip Harrison in 3 of the Sky Sports top 10 now, basically this fight confirmed his level. He is on the Polo, Medina, Tapia (?) level.

I would tip him against Brodie, Soto and the guy positioned 8 (mainly because his name doesn't ring a bell). All the rest I would tip the other guy, although maybe he could beat the unheralded WBA champion John. Infact, I think John is tailer made for Harrison.

There was Derrick Gainer not in the top ten who I would tip also.

Would Polo beat him in a rematch, not sure. Lets have the fight in Columbia, the scoring might be fairer there.

I think a bodyshot is what turned the fight. Early in the 6th Polo seemed to land and uppercut to the body that made Scot "omph". The comms didn't pick it up but im pretty sure its what did it, a right upper I think to the solar plexus. Scott dropped his hands and was definately hurt. Had he gone back to the body im convinced he would have stopped him a little later. He had nice bodywork, he threw those uppercuts the kind that Arguello threw to the body. He hardly done it though. It was hurting Scott bad.

I noticed that. Coupled with Harrison punching himself out in the fifth it turned the fight. If Harrison had been a little more composed in the fifth I think he'd have ground him down but he was too wild going for the finish.

I'd like to see a rematch.

Yes, I noted it - again the body is the weakness. Marco Barerra is famed for his body shots.

Barrera will punch holes in him. He really needs to work on slipping shots and not coming in straight ahead that's his biggest weakness I think. He took so many shots on the way in tonight he looked like John Merrick at the end.

Slight ammendment to my card - I scored it 8-4 to Polo. I thought he made Harrison look silly at times.

I'd give Scott a chance against Chi too, simply because Chi would be there to be hit, there were signs in the Sugama fight that Chi might not be the indestructable monster he appears, and Brodie showed he can't fight at all when pushed back. Would be a good old-fashioned tear-up between two come-forward fighters, too.
