Dan Dubois - right move to leave Bowers?

Martin seemed to be doing well with him, seems a bit sudden to change trainers unless he was unhappy going into his loss against Joyce?
Who do you think Dubois would have been best partnered with?

Yes, the chemistry didn’t look right in the corner.

It’s a strange dynamic though retaining Bowers as his manager and then having Tibbs as his trainer. Surprised that Dubois signed a long term deal with Bowers as his manager. The trainer/manager conflict isn’t as bad as the promoter/manager conflict but there still is one.

The Bowers did a good job with him, I'm sure Tibbs will do too, sometimes a change is a good thing just to experience different things to become a more rounded fighter.
Time will tell.
However if at the end of the day DDD has found his level, you can't work miracles.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see whether a new trainer makes him any better at working out how to unlock an opponent when things aren't just going his way (the boring Kevin Johnson UD comes to mind). Either he hasn't been taught enough, or he has but can't learn / apply it. We shall see!
