HOMETOWN DECISION COST ME £160

Had 20 on Polo at 8/1. Always knew Harrison was good as opposed to being anywhere near great.
Am doubly pissed off as I usually stick on a covering bet on the draw as such shenanigans in the UK is becoming depressingly frequent.
The draw was 40-1 on bluesquare.
Isn't the UK now just as bad as the other European countries renowned for the 'knock them out to get a draw' quip?

All i can say is Tszyu must be confident that he can KO Hatton as if it goes to the cards anything could happen.

should have stuck to my original rule, never bet on scott harrison fights.

I was about to post exactly the same, but I had polo at 7/1 and only a tenner. I knew about the eighth round that polo would win but get robbed, i had a strange apathetic feeling, knowing there was no chance victor would be given the decision.
My picks tend to be pretty accurate, the decision was disappointing and i also was about to hedge my bets with the draw. only would have been 2.50 for the same win.

i dont think it was a terrible decision, I have certainly seen many worse ones. Maybe Polo did sneak it, but i was not ring side and cant see it from where the judges were, I think that all in all it was a reasonably fair call.

Had some luck with this fight had £5 left in my Ladbrooks online , put £4 on Polo @13/2 but put the odd £1 on the draw @ 33/1.

Hometown decisions in the U.K. are becoming depressingly more frequent. Hell it even hapens in different parts of the country! I've seen some bloody awful decisions given to Welsh boxers when fighting a boxer from another part of the U.K. - don't get me wrong I'm as patriotic as the next guy, but it's just not right. Gary Lockett v Michael Monaghan immediately springs to mind.
This country (UK) used to be world renowned for being fair, sadly not any more.
What about the old Las Vegas?

You can ask but he won't know or won't care. He's the type of fighter who just wants to get the job done.
