How would you score this round? - You be the judge

I’d be interested to see how people would score a fight in a hypothetical scenario. 10 point must system.
Fighter A completely dominates the round, he hits Fighter B with several clean punches from the bell, hurts him several times and makes him miss too. Fighter B looks out of his depth. Right at the end of the round Fighter B throws a haymaker and knocks Fighter A down, he gets up at 9 and the round ends.
How would you score it if you were a judge?

I'm always gonna give the round to the guy that scores the knockdown, but I have seen a scenario close to this play out before.
Jameel McCline knocked down Calvin Brock early on in I wanna say Round 6? Somewhere in the middle of the fight. Regardless the point is, after being dropped by McCline, Brock got up and thoroughly controlled the round from there landing significantly more blows on McCline, and controlling the last 2 minutes of the round emphatically.
I scored it 10-9 for McCline as opposed to the standard 10-8 because other than the knockdown, he definitely lost the round.

10-9 fighter B usually. If it was clearly a flash knockdown / balance issue / glove grazing the canvas then perhaps even 10-10.

I scored round 5 for AJ-Wlad 10-9 and not 10-8 for AJ.
The KD was early in the round and AJ was then completely out of it the remainder of the round.

Seen a round exactly like that scored 10-10. Caused a bit of debate on here.

Impossible to give that score in a round with a knockdown, rules don't allow it.

Someone must have had a point deducted. In all cases otherwise either one or both boxers must be scored a 10.
That's why it's called the '10 point must' system.

10-9 to the fighter who scored the knockdown. Not that I think that's how it should be, but that's the most the rules allow.
Knockdowns carry too much emphasis in boxing.

Aren’t the deductions made at the end of the fight so are taken from the final score and not from the round score ?

I am not sure there is any uncertainty around this.
Fighter A has to be deducted a point in comparison to B as he has been knocked down.
It is a ten point MUST.
10-9 fighter B.

its not, though most judges seem to go with auto 10-8s for any kd, but defo seen other cases and the rules dont state that a kd has to be a 10-8

I often wondered if a fighter is winning the round other than the KD if it would be scored 10-9

I was just reading the BBBoC rules and it says the below. It says maximum points to the 'better man'. I can't see any rule that states a knockdown means that round is automatically awarded to the guy who scored the knockdown, or any rule that it should be a 10-8 round either.
3.29 The Referee shall award a maximum of ten points at the end of each round to the better man and a proportionate number to the other contestant. If he considers the round was even he will then award the maximum number to each contestant.

Fighter A won round but has to have a deduction for the KD.

BBBOC A Star ref Steve Gray. Jonp and board official ollij both backed the ref, olli, quite in depth. Just tripe in “scoring Leeds” and it should come up. I don’t know how to link the thread.
