Wallin to 13.
Chisora down to 14.
Yoka to 15.
Rivas and Kabayel out. Too inactive and/or fighting complete nonames recently.

Difficult one.
You have Rivas who has a win over Jennings and a game performance in a loss to Whyte.
Then there's Wallin who has a win over Breazeale and a debatable (the cut) loss to Fury.
Wallin to 14.
I rate Jennings over Breazeale, but Rivas has been too inactive (even though he was on a hot streak before running into Whyte).
Yoka - unranked.
I was not at all impressed with his performance against Hammer (there was a fair bit of home town cooking in that one). Looked better in his last fight against Djeko, but he's been cruiserweight for much of his career.
Going in the right direction, looked methodical in his approach to breaking down Djeko, but that Hammer performance has given me doubts.

I think Wallin earns his top 15 spot. 15 for me. Kabayel goes away finally.
Yoka isn't even top 30.

Think he has a "fight" coming up. if he doesn't have a second fight soon after vs someone of substance I'd remove him from the rankings.

yes, he is pushing it for me now
i mean, im not high on yoka, but in the last 6 months for instance he's beaten duhuapas, hammer, dimitrenko, and that other guy. limited opposition i know, but in the last 26 months rivas has beaten no one! a guy can only hang onto a good result for so long
if not yoka, it could be other guys pushing him out. i defo think wallin does now

That's why I put Yoka in and removed Rivas.

Yokas recent run is pretty good, considering the rest of the division... His wins in the last 6 months (in a pandemic) are about as good or better than:
-Ortizs wins for the last 4 years
-Parkers wins for 3.5 years
-Kabayal wins for 3.5 years
-pulevs wins 2.5 years
-rivas hasnt even beat anyone in over 2 years and is booked in with a rank journeyman.
with how pathetic some of the heavys have been matching themselves lately, i think that has to get yoka a foot in the door, even if its not a very secure one.

This vote is invalid. We can't put Kabayel above of Rivas in this voting.

Rivas is apparently kicking off the bridgerweight division with his upcoming fight, so maybe he should be dropped from our HW rankings.

There's no such thing as Bridgerweight. That division will never exist to me.

I understand your sentiment but I well recall people saying the same about Cruiserweight. Now look at it.
I agree Rivas has been inactive enough to be dropped, in fact it's only the fact he has a fight lined up that earns him a stay of execution, for me.
I've thought for a while Wallin v Kabayel would be an intriguing and competitive match, but on the basis of Wallin's performance against Breazeale, I now believe Kabayel beats Wallin by virtue of his superior stamina. It's perhaps ironic then that I believe Wallin should take Kabayel's place in the rankings based on that win over Breazeale.
Yoka is around 15 in the world in my opinion but his win over Djeko did not impress me at all.

I thought the same about his upcoming fight, till i realised it was a cruiserweight journyman who hasnt boxed in nearly 5 years, so honestly that to me is as bad as fighting noone.... He might as well be fighting me in there.

Point taken but the timing seems a bit off is all. Maybe we should have dropped him before.
I still think he poses more of a menace to the top guys than some of those who are deservedly ranked above him. That's probably influenced my lenient attitude towards him.

Now when Cruiserweight finally is considered a legit, solid division they went with this bridger bullshit... now, we will get two terribly weak divisions.

Yeah...now look at it. There's been about as many Cruiserweight stars as you can count on one hand in almost 4 decades.

Would you rather it didn't exist Gil?
Personally I really enjoyed the elimination competition won by Usyk. People like Dorticos for example aren't likely to make much of an impression at Heavyweight and I don't suppose he's likely to be strong at 175 even if he could make the weight.
