It's good that they show some real footage of Henry in the ring as opposed to the usual overblown fight scenes.

I watched this a few nights ago for the first time.
It's a good film.
Henry cut a dashing figure in his prime. So did the ladies in the film. A stylish era, thats for sure...

It was made just after Henry Armstrong had defeated Barney Ross (September 1939).
to win the welterweight Championship ( he also had the Flyweight championship)
the film was released December 1939.
parts of kEEP PUNCHING wre re-cycled sevrel years later for a movie short during the JItter-Bug craze.
