I was thinking the same thing that Monzon would dominate the Hurricane behind his jabs and counters before stopping him in the late rounds.

Monzon in 3 or 4. He'd figure out the timing and decimate Carter.

Monzon would evaporate Carter. Not literally of course....think of this as a metaphor, and don't imagine it to be overly literal.

This is a mismatch. Carlos Monzon is to all around to diverse and well rounded for Rubin Carter to deal with. If Carlos does not stop Carter late he dominates and takes an easy 15 round decision. Monzon is in another class and league than The Hurricane.
