For a British angle its between Terry Marsh and John Conteh.
Internationally? Not sure, though I like the look of Victor Galindez, Vito Antuofermo and John L Sullivan.

Them South Africans of the 80s and the 90s liked that stuff. Gerrie Coetzee, Pierre Coetzer, Johnny Du Plooy, Kallie Knoetze, even Corrie Sanders earlier in his career.
Also, there was Alexis Arguello.

Yup Ali did sport the the tache for this fight, though it was the only time he came in hairy faced.

Johnny DuPlooy also had a mullet. Which made him fearsome.
