After watching IFL for years, I seem to have found myself watching more Boxing Social recently. Better content, too. Anyone else?

iFilm London are amateurs, fools.

So yeah, Boxing Social and Behind The Gloves are the ones (plus always nice to see MJP - Mich).

I subscribe to them both and, depending on who they interview, listen to them both fairly regularly.

I think the boxing social guys ask tougher questions than IFL but, potentially as a result of that and the fact IFL is far more established, they don’t get them access to fighters and shows that IFL do. I think FW has banned Boxing social from interviewing him.

Kugan gets some great access, as does Michelle Joy Phelps but neither ask tough questions.

I think Boxing social have started to seek out more random people (like Billy Joe’s dad) to try and differentiate a little which may be a good way to go.

I hope they are all making decent money. Once the novelty has worn off, it's a tedious existence traipsing up and down the motorways, being at shows until oh fornicate o'clock, talking to people who are, in the main, dull, arsekissing, travelling overseas, editing for hours, living out of a suitcase, etc. They work hard for their daily bread.

I'd honestly rather do 10 hours a day on a shovel amd be home with a bottle of beer and my feet up for six o'clock than do what they do.

I watch a fair amount of both but prefer Boxing Social.

Nothing but respect for them both. After having done their job many years ago it isn't as fun as you might expect.

Boxing Social have some really good interviews across the board and Kugan's interviews with Eddie are must watch.

Rob T does a great job and I enjoy his podcast. I just wish someone would start a daily Fury v Joshua build up, I would lap that up at the moment! Unrealistic though I know.

Both are absolute trash.

Agreed. I'm sure they are doing okay, they have worked hard and garnered attention. The overall majority of 'content providers' are little more than slaves for Google, though. Putting in huge hours and expense for very little return.

Yes, I prefer Boxing Social. Some of the IFL banter borders on the surreal (although I still watch it).

Boxing social interviews are much better on the whole. The Brummie lad, Andy is it? - He does a very good job and of course so does Rob.

I do like the Kugan/Hearn interviews and the Scottish lad is decent. That's another Andy isn't it? - I rarely listen to Umar, he's no more than a shit stirrer. He started out really well but it's all gone to his head and i'm not sure why Kugan sticks with him.

TYFL TV beats both of them.

Boxing social podcast - I’ve only listened to it on YouTube so maybe it’s not even a podcast just looks like one (studio, mics etc). It’s good.

Boxing Asylum is number one though!

yea boxing socail is very good aswell enjoyed the peter fury videos in lockdown last year, i dont see why you watch both as i do ,loads of good stuff about sometimes to much to watch keep up with , also i like Boxing Life Stories the video with David Diamante was good seems a good bloke

Not asking tough questions is the way to get almost unlimited access to shows and events.
