A Warning to Johnny Kilbane from the IBO President

You've yet to select an opponent for a Title defense in Week 12. If this is not corrected very, very shortly. Your fighter will face severe punishment in Week 13.
You have 24 hours. Make the right decision or don't fuss at the decision that must be made as consequence.

We have negotiated with Julio Cesar Chavez to be your enforcer.
You may utilize him in such matters.
However, he is NOT a FW and thus not up for management.....though....he will be joining the pool, and when not enforcing the IBO policies and procedures, he has expressed a willingness to mix it up with anyone who's feeling froggy.

Is it at least a heavier than 130 pounds version of Chavez? I want a significant strength advantage here

The junior lightweight 130 pound version. The only fighter legitimately rated above FW in this grouping.
He assures me that he is confident of his enforcing abilities. To assist, my staff have agreed to take his opponents out to all the pubs on the evening before the surprise matchup.

I have no issue giving him some time. Week 12 to 23 was a quick turn around. When week 13 is ready and Kilbane has no opponent still, then I can see options being taken. Or just sit Kilbane for the week. Fighters do elect to sit for a week.

Going forward...letting him catch up on 12.....a very generous option. I don't like it. And yet....it's a kind thing to do. Which explains my take on this rather sad and obtuse approach to doing business.

Last fight to be run, post it up in this thread when you've run it, Buzz...
But we'll press on with Week 13....

Fighters of course have the option to sit the week out.
Champions do not.

So....I got an update from p4p1. He can pick his opponents for week 12 and 13 when he gets around to it. He's had a health bout which makes it understandable that there will be a delay.
