I'm pondering a risky big big bet on tsyzu- can't see much way hatton can win the fight... and so 2/5 looks good. Trouble is I really want hatton to win..

A quandary! Anyone else been in this position?

If Tszyu wins then you win money

if Hatton wins then who you wanted to win did.

No way Hatton wins, anyone who gives him a chance is dellusional I think.

My money will be on an early KO for Tszyu, rounds 2 & 3 I expect see how the round by round betting looks.

what about the fact that kosta has only fought once in two years because of a serious injury,he is 35 so might not be able to keep pace with hatton round after round,hatton will have the crowd behind him something the british people on this site dont seem to be,but they do say the british only like to back losers,you all thought danny williams was brave probably and showed bulldog spirit,i think he was shite from the first minute,and should have been pulled out to save face,or is bruno our other great british loser your hero,who was only champion while tyson was in jail,get behind hatton and stop being defeatists before he is even close to getting in the ring,now come on

I'd love to see Hatton win, and I'll be cheering him on, however, i think it unlikely, and if i am going to bet, it will be on the rounds spread for a tszyu win.

what about Hatton never being in a 50-50 fight, what about Hatton hurt by far lesser punchers, what about Hatton being a sucker for a straight right hand.

there's a difference between getting behind him and who you pick. I'd love to see Hatton win would be great for british boxing but I really really dont think it will happen.

Keep your money in your pocket. Trust me, unless you have just a little wager or are a millionaire, you will not be cheering Hatton on at all and it will spoil the fight for you.

yeah, i did the same for the tackie fight, i bet on tackie and it wasn't very enjoyable.

on the other hand, i want to make some (relatively) easy money.

You can get Tszyu at 1/2 with ladbrokes. Online at least.

You could probably get him at 7/2 if you visit some dingy bookies in Manchester.

Don't you find it a bit depressing Livra that while everbody else is looking forward to the biggest fight in Britain for years, and many of us have now actually bought tickets, you are left forlornly hoping that some disaster befalls the promotion?

Well I had this premonition about Hatton getting stopped on a cut very early, so I'll be having a small little wager on rounds 1/2/3 but so small that my enjoyment or support for Hatton will not be affected.

Why all the doom and gloom?!

Don't forget, Hatton is a pretty good fighter, even if his matches have been driving everyone nuts for the past two years.

It seems to boil down to one major question: Can Hatton take the Tszyu punch without keeling over?

Maybe he can.............Tszyu looked great last time out, but Mitchell looked a beaten fighter right from the off. It'll take alot more than that to discourage Hatton I reckon.

So, if Hatton can take the Russian's punch - what then? Is he ready for 12 HARD rounds at this stage of his career?

good post i agree, imitchell was far form impressive, bigger shocks have happend.

And dont call it a comeback hope you went crazy on the tickets mate, Lirva is after all paying.

It's not quite as simple as that. Will Hatton be able to make it a hard fight, or will Tszyu just be able to contain his rushes with his boxing skills, slowly breaking him down with right hands, body shots, and uppercuts, before hammering him down the stretch.

I agree that Hatton is a very good fighter, and there is a chance that his pace may be the difference, but don't forget that Tszyu is an excellent boxer himself and is more than capable of boxing his opponents off him. Hatton is of course better technically than Tackie

All in all I make Hatton an underdog, but a live one. Let's face it, who is there at LW who ISN'T an underdog against Tszyu.

True, the Tackie scenario is a possibility, but Hatton is a lot more versatile than the one paced Tackie: he's got a decent jab himself.
Much is being said about Hatton being cut up, but we've seen Tszyu mark up in the past too - might happen the other way round.

Just read that Tszyu is taking part in some sort of motor race in March?
FW must be tearing his hair out over that.....

Hatton's been able to keep up a high workrate and pace against these lesser guys, lets see what happens when he's being hit back AND HARD by Tszyu. Most of his fights have been so one sided its ridiculous.

I would be very carefull where you bet it.
Be sure that a DRAW doesn't take your money if you bet either fighter and it ends in a DRAW.

Someone here got screwed on the Polo vs Harrison fight at a book last week.

I play at a few spots including BetOddessa, Pinnacle, and Bet365. The BetOddessa.com book has the odds up on every fight before most books, so I get pretty good odds on stuff there. I like Bet365, but the juice is high sometimes. They often have good round props though. Pinnacle has the lowest juice. The most important thing is all 3 have been easy to get payouts from for me.

Use bet365 if you are betting. (The fight won't happen by the way). But bet365 refund in the event of a draw. I got my money back when I had a lot on Golota to beat Byrd.
