Eubank Jr. might face Kell Brook next, followed by GGG towards the end of the year. Both names will provide big payday opportunities, even if he's facing past-their-prime opposition.
Chris Jr. even called out Jermall Charlo.
The Brit was also adamant about
not competing at 168lbs unless he'll receive a mega-payday. He claims he's only a 160lb-er... and guess what? He is!
Meanwhile, Demetrius Andrade is intent on making the jump to 168lbs. He strongly hinted that the Liam Williams bout was his final outing at 160lbs.
It wouldn't surprise me if he copied Usyk, by lobbying the WBO to acquire "super champion" status, to automatically make him the mandatory for their 168lbs title, which will very likely he held by Canelo by Saturday night.
Either way, Demetrius Andrade is a commercially unpopular fighter that none of the big names want to face, not because of fear, but due to the fact he doesn't provide them with a decent payday nor any kudos from fight fans.
And let's be perfectly honest, Andrade's resume stinks.
Eubank Jr's does too, but at least he's faced vastly superior opposition within the last five or six years than Boo Bo has (i.e. James DeGale, Matt Korobov, Arthur Abraham, Gary O'Sullivan, Dmitrii Chudinov, Avni Yildirim, Billy Joe Saunders and George Groves
versus Maciej Sulecki and Vanes Martirosyan).
Simply put, Eubank Jr. and lots of other fighters aren't interested in Demetrius Andrade.
