watching kurbanov, i noticed he has a style unlike most russians, who tend to be more upright boxers or come ahead stalkers. he instead was bouncing around , doing shoulder rolls...doing the type of 'athletic' style a lot of young yanks want to try
what other stereotype defiers are there
miguel vasquez: hit and run and hold, negative mexican
victor ortiz: mexican quitter
loma: athletic white guy
joe smith/caleb plant: world class whiteboi americans
sebastian fundora: extremely tall inside fighter
sergio martinez: very fluid and 'natural' despite not starting boxing until his 20s
richard lartey: not made of teak at the moment i'm afraid

on the topic, can someone help me out with a japanese boxer that quit? i cant think of any off the top of my head but im sure it mustve happened

What's that got to do with the trash side of things?
Nigel Benn associated with notorious drug dealers which is far more trashy than anything Ricky Hatton ever did during his career.
