He's done James English now.... I simply don't believe a non fighter in his 20's can teach these lads anything! Fury, BJS, Taylor!! Come on lads, literally nothing he can do but be a cheerleader.

I wouldn't say it's impossible, there are very successful coaches who never boxed. Watching for bad form, correcting issues and analysing an opponents good and bad traits, if you know what to look for, doesn't mean you need to be some wily old former pro. And of course being a former fighter doesn't make someone a good coach either. Maybe they gel well. I'm not sure why his age is such an issue, Davison is 29 this year.
