Would probably be a Fury decision this time. Wilder will be more tentative and try using new techniques he's recently learnt such as the jab. Wont do as many PPV buys as nobody cares.

A fight that no one wants to see, other than Wilder fans and the lawyers that were paid handsomely to gain the arbitration verdict.

Wilder loses and retires.

It’s become boring. No fight is worth so much blah blah.

Getting paid off would be a perfect spot for wilder, get money without getting beat up again, talk about no brainer. Put up just enough protest to retain some dignity.

I think Bob is trolling for AJ money to payoff Wilder with.

Fury should just dump the belt and get on with the Joshua fight, let Wilder fight Usyk for the vacant belt.

This is one way to call Wilder’s bluff and make him take a smaller payout. Basically says “alright come fight us ASAP” if you’re really in shape. Smart move by Uncle Bob.

Utterly stupid situation

Wilder is ruined mentally. This will be his last fight, for now.
He should have been on his second interim fight
by now, with his confidence renewed and a shot
at winning. Instead he sat around and whined,
fired his coaching staff and hired a new scape
goat. He'll retire and make a bad come back in
a year or so when he burns through his money.

It seems that Fury is legally-obliged to face Wilder, unless the Brit pays-off the American.

The only good thing to come out of the arbitration situation is Wilder’s imminent retirement (when he suffers a third Fury loss) and potentially Usyk hanging up his gloves too.

Not that I dislike Usyk, but he’s not big enough to compete at heavyweight. He’s also injury prone and struggled badly against a fringe contender, which suggests he may already be past-his-prime.

So Usyk may as well be highly-rewarded for losing to Joshua, before hanging up his gloves to enjoy the fruits of his illustrious career.

The top-ten rated heavyweight rankings has become stale and needs fresh blood.

I think that this is perfect both for Fury and Joshua. A legitimate reason to postpone their fight and to build up some more hype around it. Big question is how can that be done?

AJ will need a fight in the meantime. Who should he have a go at while waiting? It's kinda problematic how few hype producing fights there are out there for AJ. A Ruiz III bout in Mexico city would do wonders but also carry enormous risk.

It's not a bad thing really if they're actually able to get Fury vs Joshua done before years end. Or hell even Wilder vs Joshua if something unexpected should happen.

It'll probably be a little more competitive than the 2nd bout, but only because Fury will be a little more careful with a big megafight looming on the horizon.

If Wilder gets the weight of his ring walk costume right then hell, anything can happen!

If these 2 keep fighting each other it's not impossible that Wilder eventually lands one of those hail mary right hands and gets a KO. He nearly did in the first fight, which people forget.

Then what? We get Wilder-Fury part 4.

The networks dedicated loads of ad space for pushing the fight. In the end the money they would have received from the fight would have been less than they would have received if they’d just sold the airtime to normal advertisers.

I’d be surprised if Bob/Al lost money but who knows. May explain why they were so against staging the fight with minimal fans.
