Looking at the Light welterweight division I personally don’t think there’s many big fights left for Taylor now, would you move him up to Welter (definitely a more competitive division)?

If they can get the right drugs in him, why not?

I agree there are no major fights remaining at the weight for him, still, i'd like to see him remain and reign over the division for some time. Get a couple defences in, rematch Prograis etc, see what else might open up within the division.

Moving up, he would really have his work cut out with Crawford, Spence, Thurman etc. Currently i dont see him winning any of those fights, and i'm a massive Taylor fan, but a realist.

Only Zepeda is left, but Catterall is likely to be tracked to the shot now. Taylor will obviously handle them both and he'll do it confidently. Catterall will be an easier target, but possibly it can become more or less big fight for the UK. Anyway, big fights against the welter guys are clearly more interesting.

So, I'd prefer Taylor to move up. Taylor in the mix with Crawford, Spence, Porter, Pac, Ennis sound great.

Having all the belts is the best bargaining chip possible.
It sucked when Crawford tossed all his in, and Usyk didn't hang onto his for long really.

Taylor looks clearly better than anybody at the SLW. He has defeated the best guys there. It'll be interesting to see the mix of Ramirez, Prograis, Zepeda and Catteral for the new undisputed champion, while Taylor goes for the more challenging bouts at the WW.

Depends on MONEY MONEY MONEY ,,, If he has enough to see him through and is'nt bothered about money , why should he ,, stay where he is remain supreme , keep the belts , theres two good rematches with Ramirez and Prograis , remember Kosta ruled suprem for a while never jumped up , why should Taylor at the moment he's King of his division , why give it up to become a prince of another one , if he don't need the money

However if its the dollars he wants well why not couple of defences , and go up for a couple of big money fights .

Also good option, if the lightweight top guys, Lopez, Davis, Haney, start to mix it up against each other right now. The long wait doesn't seen good.

Some monster fights with the likes of Davis and Lopez. Davis is fighting at light welter in his next fight so he may be wanting the fight too.

Could also fight Mikey Garcia. Mikey seemed to want to prove himself at 147 but I’m sure would be interested in going for all of the belts at 140. Would be a big fight in Texas.

Just a shame he’ll have to mess around with undeserving mandatories like Catterall. Hopefully they can do that quickly this summer to get it out of the way.

I’d take the Catterall fight as a homecoming. Should be a relatively easy (compared to some of his recent opponents) fight & then see what’s out there.

It’s ok waiting for the 135 guys to move up but what if they have no plans to anytime soon?

Rematches with Prograis & Ramirez would be great to watch but they’re likely to happen in the States & they could easily go the other way next time round especially without McGuigan in his corner.

At welter I’d steer clear of Spence. That jabs a nightmare but why not go for Crawford? A shot, weight drained Kell Brook came out & won the first two rounds against Crawford & Crawford’s never beaten anyone as good as Taylor. He’s never beaten anyone as good as Prograis or Ramirez either. He’s now 34 as well. Go for it. Everyone will expect him to get beat so it won’t harm his reputation if he does.

Prograis rematch. He’s a better fighter than Ramirez or anyone else at 140-147 who might actually get in the ring with Taylor. I discount Crawford obviously he doesn’t fight anyone and fck knows what Spence is up to

140 has been a shit dog for years with it really just been a transition to 147. But Think of all the stacked 135s looking to step through 140... tank, Haney, lopez, Ryan Garcia.. call out mikey Garcia at 140, all good fights.

Taylor dosent seem a big 140, wouldent go up yet. If he moves up he should have a 147 tune up befor fighting craw.

He is already undisputed champ, he don't have to worry about that now, just look for the biggest fights at whatever weight, Spence, Pac, Crawford, Lopez, Lomo, Haney, Garcia.

Depends how difficult it still is for him to make 140 but with potential fights against Lopez, Davis, Garcia etc staying where he is seems the better option.

The 147 cohort are mired in political shenanigans and are either inactive or ancient. Josh might end up waiting in line behind Jake Paul for a shot at one of the belts.

Good call, that never even entered my mind tbh, both lightweight and welter are stacked with talent.

I was just thinking about Taylor tbh, an amazing achievement to become undisputed in under 20 fights.

We all know how horrible Boxing can be, if he can get his big fights, big money and get out of the sport unscratched and clear minded that would be great, but I don’t know his mindset, is he money orientated or in it for the glory and hall of fame status?

Stay at 140 if he can.

Taylor is the undisputed, let the top fighters in the other divisions come to him.

I’d be interested to know how well last night’s show did on Fite TV - it’s the first one I’ve bought but I’d still be surprised if it did more than 25,000 buys.
