I have to say that I agree totally with Doug Fischer (the best boxing writer in the US/world in my opinion). This is what he had to say on it:

"I think folks give Hatton a shot because as great as Tszyu is, he's generally a slow starter and a strong 'swarmer' like Hatton can perhaps get off his best stuff before the veteran has a chance to counter back. Now, Tszyu has been known to strike early - see his fight with Judah and the second fight with Mitchell - but those were two southpaw boxers, who were looking to dart in and out from the outside. Hatton will test Tszyu's mid-30s legs and he probably has a better set of whiskers than Judah or Mitchell. I don't really give the kid a shot, but I do think he will make it a fight, at least for six or seven rounds. One of the reasons I believe this is because he's fighting at home, and I think the Manchester crowd will have him so pumped up that Tszyu will have to practically kill him to keep him down".

After splashing out on a seat eleven rows from the ring, I hope it lasts longer than three rounds!

I think the situation is like the Freitas V Corrales fight. Freitas was the undefeated and largly unproven fighter coming up against a world class fighter in Corrales. He was a live wire in the early rounds of the fight before tiring and getting KTFO.

i agree with that. hatton is going to show a hell of a lot of heart, it's his home audience, the fight he's wanted for ages, I think he'll be knocked down four or five times before it is stopped.

Obviously my prediction changes if Micky Vann or whoever it was (memory's going) who reffed the Stewart fight is involved.

Coulda been, It's not that I can't remember his name I just can't remember who it was. Do remember when Hatton spun Stewart 360 and the ref didn't even call a break though.

The worst refereeing I have seen in the UK was Alfred Asaro for Benn V McClellan. The worst I have seen anywhere ever was Roger Tilleman (the Bavarian bloke with the mustache) that did Robin Reid V Sven Ottke. It is disgraceful that Ottke retired undefeated, I'd have loved to have seen him die in the ring.

Maybe that's a little bit harsh actually...
