Joe Pigford came back in Luxembourg last night with a couple of other South Coast fighters on the card.
Also Bradley Skeete came back with a little win, and John Fewkes also won on the card at super middle

Interesting results. Skeete is now with Ingles right?

Yes, he trains out of Steve Bendall gym in poole, his trainer is Kev Thornley. Also fighting in Luxembourg was stable mate Lee Cutler, who lost last time out against Bradley Rea on a matchroom/skysports show.

Fewkes looks exactly like the Fewkes of old… switching, fancy and flashy. Wasn’t at super middle tho… his opponent might have been though but I expect to see him at welter max if he keeps winning… which he seemed keen to do.

Why did he retire first time?

Wasn’t in love with boxing… loved a hard weekend on the booze… now he’s got a family etc… he even said after a win on a Friday night he’d be out on the last until Sunday… this time he said he’s going to be in the gym Saturday morning.
I’d imagine he will ultimately regret the talent he pissed away in 5 years’ time but I’m hopeful he can get at least one more big domestic fight at welter… he does have the skills but boxing is brutal.

I remember Fireball Fewkes as a young prospect. Hope he’s gets some cash out the game now
